Red Tape Reduction the focus of Fall Business Leaders Forum

Red tape reduction and process improvements will be the focus of the Fall Business Leaders Forum, and the City is encouraging local business leaders to join them to collective problem-solve.

Members of the business community are invited to participate and bring their unique business lens and experience from a variety of sectors and industries to connect with City officials and help identify and explore solutions.

“St. Albert initiated its Green Tape strategy in 2015, and we are constantly looking for ways to ensure we are delivering more effective and efficient government services,” says Mayor Cathy Heron. “I’m excited to collaborate with our strong business community and identify further areas of improvement while maintaining necessary protections, accountability and equity for business. This is a topic that is near and dear to many of our hearts.”

To participate in the Business Leaders Forum, you must either own a business based in St. Albert, be a St. Albert resident employed in the private sector, or be a member of a business support organization based in St. Albert. You must also have relevant experience or expertise with the forum topic, be employed in a professional or industry relevant to the forum topic or have a professional connection or passion for the topic.

The November 14 Business Leaders Forum will start at 6 p.m. and last approximately 2.5 hours. Dinner will be provided. Further details on the forum, including location, will be provided to those applicants selected to attend the forum.
