Update on City of St. Albert's Response to COVID-19
Update for July 15, 2020
The City of St. Albert continues to take a thoughtful and measured approach in its response to COVID-19. Unless listed on the facility closures or in this release, all City services are still available for access by phone, email or online. Due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, this information is considered current as of the date of distribution.
As part of the City’s recovery plan, front counter services will reopen on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. As facilities reopen for public access, in accordance with the Alberta Relaunch Strategy, the City will follow Alberta Health guidelines to ensure the safety of our residents, patrons and staff.
Visitors will see modifications to front counter services delivery to help mitigate risks associated with the spread of COVID-19. Modifications can include:
- Hand santizer stations
- Increased signage, such as directional decals
- Protective plexiglass guards
To maintain the safety and well-being of residents, patrons and staff, please respect modifications and restrictions in place when visiting a City facility. If you are feeling sick, please do not enter City facilities.
Online services will continue to be provided through the City website at Online Services.
Front counter services at the following facilities will re-open at a later date, once the facility is ready for the public:
- Servus Credit Union Place, reopens as early as the week of July 19 - 25, 2020.
- Fountain Park Recreation Centre, reopens as early as the week of August 2 - 8, 2020.
