COVID-19 Recovery Task Force Final Report Presentation
final report presentation to council on August 30, 2021
Members of the COVID-19 Recovery Task Force attended the City of St. Albert Council Meeting on August 30 to present the Committee’s Final Report to Council. The Task Force, represented by members Sandyne Beach McCutcheon and Jason Krips, presented the 27-page document that outlines the group’s recommended strategic initiatives and outcomes designed to support the City and broader St. Albert community in their recovery efforts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Final Report outlines four key outcome areas that the Task Force recommends Council consider adopting as areas of strategic priority:
- Accessible Programs and Services
- Accelerated Growth, Investment and Financial Diversification
- Social Profit and Business Resiliency
- Community Connectedness, Vibrancy, Pride and Sense of Belonging
Each of these priority areas is marked by recommended actions that could be taken to accomplish the priority outcomes. This Report and subsequent recommendations were received by Council and could be used to inform a strategic direction going forward in 2022. The City of St. Albert wishes to thank the members of the Recovery Task Force for their time and contribution throughout the past 18 months and for their dedication to the creation of this Final Report.
