St. Albert Celebrates Canada Day Presented by Servus Credit Union
There’s something for everyone at the City of St. Albert Canada Day celebration presented by Servus Credit Union. From family activities to outdoor movie screenings and a dazzling fireworks display, grab your family and friends and connect with your community on Tuesday, July 1.
This year’s events will take place in three locations with times, activities and parking recommendations outlined below.
Inclusive Hour at Servus Credit Union Place
Time: 9 – 10 a.m. Address: 400 Campbell Road
- A quieter way to celebrate with smaller crowds, dim lights and no music for families with children ages 3-12.
- Sensory-friendly activities are first-come, first-served with limited spaces available. Register here to reserve your spot.
- Families are welcome to stay for the regular Canada Day event starting at 10 a.m.
Family Activities at Servus Place
Time: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Address: 400 Campbell Road
- Enjoy face painting, archery, Lego stations, inflatables, food trucks, a scavenger hunt, glitter tattoos, games, live entertainment and much more.
- Free Park and Ride: 9:45 a.m. – 4 p.m. from Nakî Transit Centre and St. Albert Centre Exchange.
Outdoor Movie Showings at Millenium Park Presented by Bright Dental
Time: 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Location: St. Anne Promenade and Taché Street
- 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. showtimes of Moana 2
- Be sure to bring your own chair/blanket; food trucks are on-site.
- Street parking is available.
Fireworks Presented by the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert
Time: 11 p.m.
- End the day with a dazzling fireworks display set off from the Meadowview Ball Diamonds.
- The Meadowview Ball Diamonds are closed to the public, but recommended viewing locations and parking can be found on the City’s Canada Day event page.
