St. Albert Place Temporary Closure
St. Albert Place will be temporarily closed for construction from Thursday, August 28, at 11 p.m. until Friday, September 5. It will re-open Saturday, September 6, at 7 a.m.
There will be no access to the building, and all in-person programs and services located in St. Albert Place will be unavailable during this closure (unless otherwise noted).
Front Counter In-person Services will be closed for St. Albert Place Customer Service, Taxation and Utilities, Planning & Engineering, Community Services and The Arden Theatre Box Office. Residents can access services by email or phone during this time.
The Musée Héritage Museum, St. Albert Public Library (Downtown Library only), Visual Art Studios (Multi-craft, Quilting, Painters, and Pottery) and W.A.R.E.S. will be closed during construction.
Some programs and services will continue to run as scheduled during the closure, including The Arden Theatre Plaza Series outdoor event on Thursday, August 28, The Arden Theatre show on Friday, September 5, and the St. Albert Farmers Market on Saturday, August 30. Community Support Workers will be available at the St. Albert Business Centre on Tuesday, September 2 and Friday, September 5.
The St. Albert Place temporary closure is due to essential lifecycle and facility repair work, including electrical work that will impact lighting and power in the facility. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience as we complete this final phase of work.
For a full listing of exceptions, please check the St. Albert Place Temporary Closure page, as it will be updated with details as they become available.
