Toys For Tickets 2024 Campaign

If you receive a parking ticket during the last two weeks of November, you may be able to turn it into some holiday magic in support of this year’s Toys For Tickets Campaign. For the 15th consecutive year, Municipal Enforcement Services (MES) is proud to host this campaign and spread some holiday magic to families across St. Albert.

Residents who receive a parking ticket issued with a Toys for Tickets notification between November 15 and 30, 2024, can donate new, unwrapped toys as an alternative form of payment for the parking violation. Toys received will be donated to the Fill-A-Bus campaign led by St. Albert Transit and Diversified Transportation, as part of the Kinette Club of St. Albert’s Christmas Hamper Campaign.

Last year, MES employees accepted 97 toys valued at nearly $2,300 dollars. Many St. Albert residents also helped support this campaign by dropping off toy donations even without receiving a ticket.

Toys will be accepted in place of eligible parking tickets as part of the Toys for Tickets campaign. The following conditions apply:

  • Tickets must have been issued between November 15 and 30, 2024. Eligible tickets will be issued with a Toys for Tickets notification providing information about the opportunity.
  • The ticket must be paid with a toy within the early payment date range to be eligible.
  • Toys must be new, age appropriate (newborn to 16 years), and in original packaging.
  • The value of the toy must equal or exceed $25 and a receipt must be presented at the time of payment.

Drop-off location: Toys can be dropped off from November 15 to December 7, 2024, at the St. Albert RCMP Detachment (Maloney Place), 96 Bellerose Drive. Open Monday to Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.  No appointment is necessary to drop off your donation. Place the toy (along with the receipt and your ticket attached) in the designated bin located in the front entrance of the St. Albert RCMP detachment. Other donations from residents are welcome even without a ticket attached!
