Until mid-October - Grenfell Avenue between Greenwich Crescent
The City of St. Albert has directed Kichton Contracting Ltd. to begin preparations for a seasonal shutdown. This involves backfilling any excavations on the main line, completing sanitary service connections to the new line, backfilling, and fully restoring the concrete and asphalt area as required. Any landscaping in boulevards or front yards will have new topsoil placed and graded, but may not see seeding or tree planting until 2018. Full water service will be restored and temporary lines removed. All construction signage and fencing shall be progressively removed as the work is completed.
Grenfell Avenue will be closed between the entrances of Greenwich Crescent. Traffic is being detoured through Greenwich Crescent. Please obey the reduced speed signs of 20 km/h.
