Business Breakfast

The Business Breakfast is an opportunity for businesses, government and community leaders to come together annually to celebrate our city's successes and growth over the past year, and learn about development in St. Albert.

Small Business Week 

Small Business Week is a National annual celebration of small businesses and entrepreneurship. Small Business Week 2020 was held from October 19-23rd. The City of St. Albert's Economic Development hosted 4 virtual information sessions. Local small business owners were invited to join our webinar sessions to learn about a variety of topics from local expertise. Attendees learned about the 5 priorities of entrepreneurs while adapting to the pandemic according to a study by BDC, received guidance on interviewing techniques and preparation required for hiring in 2020, along with tips and resources on managing your business cash flow, and maintaining positive mental health.

Forging the Way Forward: How entrepreneurs are adapting to the pandemic
