Current Business Parks

The industrial lands in the City of St. Albert are primarily located in the Campbell and Riel Business Parks. Though both parks are almost completely developed there is space available in both for lease and Both parks have available lots for development or space for lease.

Campbell Business Park

The Campbell Business Park consisted of 121 ha (300 acres) of serviced industrial and commercial land. With lot sizes ranging from 1 – 5 acres, it contains the following types of business:

  • Office
  • Warehouse/Distribution
  • Manufacturing
  • Light industrial

Riel Business Park

The Riel Business Park includes 203 ha (498 acres) of serviced industrial and commercial land (including both North and South Riel). Lot sizes range from 0.28 – 2.5 acres and include the following types of business:

  • Office
  • Small manufacturing
  • Contractors
  • Specialty automotive
  • Small light industrial

Future Business Parks

Lakeview Business District

Located on the western edge of St. Albert, bounded by Carrot Creek on the west, Ray Gibbon Drive on the east, Township Road 540A on the north and Big Lake on the south, Lakeview Business District has been designated as the City’s next Business Park. With 250 (617 acres) of greenfield development, the area will help to generate non-residential tax revenue and provide jobs for the City of St. Albert. Development is expected to begin in the next five to seven years.
