Business Licence Bylaw Survey

The City of St. Albert is revising its Business Licence Bylaw. Much of the bylaw will remain the same; however, the City is looking for input from the business community on proposed changes.

The updated bylaw will clearly set out licensing requirements and definitions, and improve administrative efficiency and clarity for licence holders and property owners.

All input will be considered to help finalize the revised Business Licence Bylaw.

Starting on Nov 6, 2025:

  1. Review the proposed changes and explanations
  2. Review the current Business Licence Bylaw 43/2000
  3. Provide your input by completing the short survey.

Survey results will be summarized in a What We Heard Report that will be available in the new year.

The City will present the revised Business Licence Bylaw to Council in early 2026.
