Getting people back to work
Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy puts safety first, while gradually reopening businesses, resuming activities, and getting people back to work. While we face a long road to recovery, there are signs our collective efforts are helping slow the spread of COVID-19.
Stage 1 allows some businesses and facilities to resume full operations as early as May 14 with enhanced infection prevention and controls in place.

Workplace Guidance for Alberta’s relaunch
All workplaces are expected to develop and implement policies and procedures to address COVID-19 prior to re-opening or continuing operations.
Guidance has been developed to support businesses and sectors during Alberta’s relaunch. This guidance will help workplaces develop and implement policies and procedures required to address the COVID-19 pandemic prior to reopening or continuing operations after May 4, 2020.
