About the Project

As the newest and northernmost park in the City of St. Albert, the City of St. Albert is constructing new accessible and interactive amenities within Element Park. 

New amenities being constructed include:

• Social ice and boarded rink
• Parking lot
• Additional walking trails
• Playground area
• Benches and seating area
• Art wall with bouldering wall
• Added trees and shrubs

Background

Element Park is located along the east side of Element Drive North within the Erin Ridge North neighbourhood. The existing green space was developed alongside the construction of the neighbourhood and it is now time for the City to complete the final enhancements. 

The project is broken down into three phases:

• Phase 1: Preliminary and Detailed Design (Completed)
• Phase 2: Construction (In progress, estimated completion of fall 2025)
• Phase 3: Art Installation (Construction Summer of 2026)

Timeline

• May 2025 to September 2026.
