Key updates for 2026
- Development Staging plans have been updated to more closely reflect the historical average land absorption rate over the past 15 years. This has resulted in a more stabilized Development Staging plan throughout the 25-year development timeframe.
- Project cost estimates have changed to reflect project design work undertaken in 2025 or actual project expenditures.
- Project design for the Northeast Servicing Project package (3 OSL projects) is staged for 2028 construction start.
- Changes in developed areas in the City based on 2025 development.
2026 Update Information Session
A virtual information session was held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm via Microsoft Teams. St. Albert's Engineering Department provided a brief presentation on off-site levies, followed by a question and answer period. Active area land developers and property owners subject to paying off-site levies were mailed an invitation to the meeting.
