Collision Statistics

The City maintains a database of reportable collisions within St. Albert (both on public and private roadways) and produces annual reporting for incidents occurring on public roadways. A “reportable collision” is any incident that results in property damage of $5,000 or greater, an injury, or a fatality. Incident information is gathered by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), filed with the province, and then shared with the City by Alberta Transportation & Economic Corridors. The reporting here reflects the data available at the time of production, and numbers may be subject to revision due to continuing police investigations.
