16.5 Amending Flourish

Policy

16.5.1.

Require, where applicable, before considering an amendment to Flourish, the submission and review of a planning rationale and technical reports that address:

1. The nature and purpose of the amendment
2. Proposed wording or proposed mapping for the amendment, or both, if required
3. Planning and technical justification for the amendment
4. Consistency with Edmonton Metropolitan Region Growth Plan principles and policies
5. Demographic, population, and employment forecast data and other relevant statistical information
6. Effect of the proposed amendment on adjacent land uses
7. Effect of the proposed amendment on municipal infrastructure and services
8. Proposed public participation strategy
