Front Counter Services are Open

Planning and Development front counter services are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on weekends and holidays.  All available online services can be viewed at stalbert.ca.

For Development Permits (including Compliance Certificates): Please email completed applications and all required information to development@stalbert.ca. A Development Officer will review your application, and once deemed complete, you will be contacted for payment information.

For Building and Mechanical Permits: Please email completed applications and all required information to BIS@stalbert.ca

For Planning Applications (Subdivision, LUB amendment, etc.): Please email completed applications and all required information to planapp_drawings@stalbert.ca.

The following are application forms commonly used in the Planning & Development Department. Questions regarding applications grouped under "Development Processes" can be directed to a Development Officer, those grouped under "Building Processes" can be directed to a Safety Codes Officer, and those applications grouped under "Planning Processes" can be directed to a Planner. To reach a Planner, Development Officer or Safety Codes Officer, please call 780-459-1642.

Fees related to the following applications are charged in accordance with the Master Rates Bylaw, as amended. The Master Rates bylaw can be viewed in the Bylaws section.

Please note, the City does not issue refunds for applications once any work has been undertaken.
