Initiative #5: Electronic Building Permit Processing Program
This initiative is focused on streamlining how developers and builders apply for permits with the City of St. Albert.
The City is developing a new e-permitting software application that will make it easier and faster to submit and track applications for planning, development and building projects.
The City of St. Albert is launching a new online permit portal that allows residents, developers, builders and contractors to make payment online and submit pre-application as well as building permits and development permits for new single-detached dwellings, semi-detached dwellings and townhouse permits. Additional development and building permits will continue to be rolled out in the next couple of years, including planning applications (e.g. subdivision, redistricting, etc.). This page will be updated as more and more permits get implemented in phases.Related Pages
