What's Happening

The Taste of Igboland event is designed to expose Albertans to the culture and tradition of Igboland. Igbo people are the predominant indigenes of South Eastern and South Southern Nigeria which include Abia, Anambra, Cross River, Delta, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Ebonyi, Enugu, and some parts of Benue State.

This event will delve into the ways of life, our foods, dressing, dance, arts and crafts, greetings and language, prayers, music and festivals, among others.
