What's Happening

A learning opportunity where participants can listen to presentations on the Métis Nation Narrative, with speakers sharing the narrative and information through the following stages:

  • Past: The evolution of the Métis Nation up to the Fur Trade
  • Present: From the Fur Trade to the present day
  • Future: From present day to tomorrow

This will also include representatives from the Métis Nation of Alberta sharing information on citizenship processes and the genealogy and harvesting departments.

All attendees must comply with provincial public health measures. It is expected physical distancing of at least two metres will be maintained. Where it is not possible to maintain physical distancing, masking is recommended.
