What's Happening
Emergent Downtown Lane Closure: When accessing the Festival/Open House site from St. Anne Street, please note an additional westbound lane will be closed until June 10 as part of the City's sewer replacement project. We encourage patrons to utilize the free Park and Ride from St. Albert Bus Exchange.
This family-oriented, free event features several displays and activities encouraging St. Albert residents and visitors to learn more about emergency preparedness and public safety.
In 2023, we are teaming up with the International Children’s Festival of the Arts. Join us in downtown St. Albert! Highlights of the Public Safety Open House:
- Sit in a police car, fire truck, or ambulance
- Check out the RCMP helicopter
- Meet search & rescue dogs and their handlers
- Tips to help prepare your family for an evacuation
- Meet some of the province's emergency management professionals and see the equipment they rely on in a disaster
- Pick up resources from St. Albert Victim Services and learn how they provide support to victims of crime, violence, tragedy and disasters within St. Albert.
