What's Happening
The City of St. Albert is committed to taking the necessary steps to improve traffic safety in our community. Administration has performed a network wide speed review that resulted in recommendations for changes that was followed by a public participation survey on the proposed changes - background information is available at the Transportation Network Speed Limit Review page. A non-statutory public hearing has been scheduled to allow residents/stakeholders the opportunity to share concerns with Bylaw 4/2021, which includes posted speed limit amendments to Traffic Bylaw 18/2005, with Council – including a new proposed change to School Zone times.
