What's Happening
The City of St. Albert and the Alberta Native Bee Council are proud to present “Buzzing with Knowledge: Native Bees 101”, a free virtual webinar on May 20 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in recognition of World Bee Day.
We're excited to welcome Ilan Domnich, Native Bee Stewardship Specialist from the Alberta Native Bee Council, as our special guest speaker. Discover the fascinating world of native bees! In this presentation, we’ll explore their incredible diversity and how they differ from managed bees, such as honeybees. With pollinators in decline, it’s more important than ever to learn simple, effective ways to support these essential species and the risks that they face. Learn how you can help create a future for bees and biodiversity alike.
There will also be time for a Q&A session following the presentation — please submit your question in advance when you register.
Join us and be part of a growing movement to protect our native pollinators and inspire positive environmental action in our community.
