COVID-19 Voting Station Safety
The City’s priority is the health, safety and well-being of our residents and staff. When at a voting station, follow the provincial public health measures in effect that day and be prepared for:
- One-way voter traffic and physical distancing
- Having hand sanitizer, a sanitized sharpie to mark your ballot, as well as a sanitized secrecy sleeve provided
- Frequent voting station sanitization - touchpoints, such as registration tables and voting booths, will be sanitized between voter use
- Election workers to be masked and located behind plexiglass barriers where possible
Note: Voters who are medically exempt from masking are encouraged to vote at the Election Office voting station (Servus Credit Union Place, 400 Campbell Road). Proof of medical exemption will be required.
