What's Happening
Join us for the ribbon cutting of Fountain Park Recreation Centre (FPRC) and Fountain Park outdoor playground!
The facility was closed from May 2022 through to July 2023 to complete major necessary lifecycle repairs and replacement work to support the strong community utilization of this amenity.
The adjacent outdoor playground redevelopment included elements that are developmentally appropriate for children with and without disabilities and are thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and fun place where children of all abilities can play together.
Mayor Cathy Heron, members of City Council, City staff, and other invited guests will be in attendance to help celebrate the occasion and following the ceremony, attendees can tour Fountain Park Recreation Centre to learn more about the upgrades or step outside to enjoy the new playground.
