Find Your Light.

The St. Albert Amplify Festival is returning, in a virtual format, to spotlight the power and potential of youth, art and community in our city. Despite the shadows cast across this year, there is still a joy that radiates when making, exploring and sharing art. Whether you want to call it a mini-festival or an online festival, it won’t be like other years, but 2020 isn’t like any other year. Instead, we are going to bring you two days of as much Amplify as we can safely muster over the Internet!

An arts festival designed specifically for students Grade seven to age 21, this is our seventh year showcasing youth art, creativity and culture in St. Albert! Featuring a combination of workshops and performances, Amplify continues to be entirely composed, created and curated by young artists.

On October 16 and 17, we are back (if slightly altered) with another weekend of (online) music, poetry, visual art and more. And new this year, Amplify will host its first Film Festival!

As fall descends this October, Amplify is asking you to brave the eclipse of culture and community that is 2020, and search for the parts of you that make you shine to Find Your Light!
