An Open Mic Night for Creative Writers

Bring your wise, wild, and wacky words to Amplify’s Poetry Open Mic Night on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Confections Cake Co.

Whether you’re there to perform or to simply enjoy the work of St. Albert’s young creatives, warm up your snapping fingers, grab some dessert and settle in for an evening of poetry performance that’s sure to vacillate from emotional to playful to honest to irreverent and back again.

While we will be accepting registration at the door, please register in advance to ensure your spot by completing our "Call for Poets" application. 

What: Poetry and creative writing open mic 

When: Thursday, May 2 at 7 p.m.

Where: Confections Cake Co. (15 Perron St., #140) 

For: Young artists grade 7 to age 21. Supporters of all-ages welcome. 

Cost: FREE! Seating is first come, first served.
