Night Market, Workshops, Art Battle and more!

Amplify is hosting its fourth annual Artist Alley and this year, we are celebrating the arts under the summer sun!  In an event that puts the art in heart, join us in supporting the work of young emerging visual artists from St. Albert and area. 

This event will rejoice in all things visual art--mixing a professional experience with the electric atmosphere of Amplify to showcase the best young artists in our City. Artist Alley will feature an artisan market and craft sale, dynamic live painting with Amplify's annual Art Battle and an inspiring mix of introductory visual art workshops. If you like visual art, this event will be right up your alley!

Craft Market ft. Amplify's Annual Art Battle and Live Music

Our third annual craft market specifically highlights young vendors Grade 7 to age 25. Helping young artisans get a leg up in the market scene, we will have over 25 vendors selling everything from stickers and keychains, to jewelry and stuffies, to pottery and fine art prints. 

We will also be hosting Amplify's 9th annual Art Battle! A visual spectacle not to be missed, artists will be given 30-minutes to create vibrant art right before your eyes. Audience members then vote on there favourite piece and the winner moves on to the next round. 

Lastly, young, aspiring musicians will be joining us during the market to add live music to the event and enliven the atmosphere.

Vendor age restriction: Grade seven to age 25.
Musician and Art Battle age restriction: Grade seven to age 21.

Visual Art Workshops, for youth, Grade 7 to age 21:

Amplify is all about getting St. Albert's young residents participating in the arts, so of course, our Artist Alley has to feature some hands-on workshops and activities. During our craft market, Amplify will host engaging, beginner level visual art classes for young residents in Grade seven to age 21.

Workshop details are NOW avalaible and registration opens on June 11, 2026 at 10 am.
