Call for Collaboration

Call for Collaboration

Deadline for all submissions is Sunday, October 4th, 2020.

Help us ‘find the light’ during the COVID-19 pandemic by being part of our 2020 Collaborative Art piece! The Amplify Committee wants to bring together our community of young artists—filmmakers, visual artists, photographers and more—to create a short film to represent our theme for this year’s festival: Find Your Light.

We are asking you to submit a video piece that’s up to 15 seconds long that shows us how you got through the most isolating days of COVID. In other words, show us your light! We are also accepting still photos, a series of photos or a visual art piece. Really, it can be whatever visual media we can edit into a digital format that represents your hope and happiness during 2020.

We will stitch together all of our “lights” to create a beautiful digital quilt as both a reminder of what we went through together and how we continue to presevere.

Help us reflect on 2020 and inspire the future as we move through this unprecedented year together!

Rules and regulations:

  • Whether it’s a carousel of photos, an artistic collage or a film piece, the maximum length must be 15 seconds.
