7:20 PM Rubber Trees
8:00 PM Arlo Maverick
9:00 PM Scenic Route to Alaska

Rubber Trees

Winning The Show 4.0 with their bold covers and captivating stage presence, Rubber Trees (formerly known as The Pedestrians) have taken the year to create their own original sound laced with sparkling guitars, deep grooves and floating vocals. Shifting effortlessly between fun and full of heart, Rubber Trees boast a brilliant live show and are a dynamic addition to St. Albert’s music scene.

Arlo Maverick

Arlo Maverick fuses jazz, electro and soul into a gritty sound that identifies itself as clever, quick and cunning hip-hop. With pulsating beats and flanked by an electric band, Arlo has showcased at Canadian Music Week, Breakout West and the Edmonton and Winnipeg Jazz Festivals. Writing from his personal experiences, Arlo Maverick connects with his fans one song at a time. Lyrically, Arlo’s music is a poetic narration of everyday life experiences. Be it songs about the innocence of falling in love, confronting one’s inner demons, or the struggles of making ends meet, Arlo Maverick’s music is as much about moving his audience physically as it is about moving them emotionally.

Scenic Route to Alaska

Notorious around Edmonton’s music scene for creating the catchiest indie tunes this side of the 100th meridian, Scenic Route to Alaska has kept YEG dancing for years now. Fun and flavourful, rich and rock steady, Scenic Route (as they are often lovingly referred to as) effectively plays with memorable melodies, driving rhythms and full-bodied vocal arrangements. It’s a sound that’s instantly engaging and begs to be heard again and again.
