The Originals: Amplify's Music Open Mic
Registration opens July 15th, 2026.
Share your new music at The Originals: Open Mic! We are looking for singer-songwriters to share original music (and maybe a cover or two) at a night focused on spotlighting young artists in our community. Share your music with us by signing up starting on July 15th, 2026! While registration will also be accepted at the door, please consider registering early to secure your performance spot.
Guidelines
- Participants will have the opportunity to perform two songs each.
- Of the two songs participants can perform, one MUST be an original song, while the other can be a cover. (It can also be an original.)
- All performers must be between Grade 7 to Age 21.

Date: August 14th, 2026
Time: 7 pm to 9 pm
Location: Confections Cake Co (15 Perron Street, Unit 140)
Cost: FREE!
Supporters of all ages are welcome to attend.
Our Amplify Coordinator, Kathleen Bell, will be out of the office from July 24 until August 11th, 2026. If you register during that time period, please be assured that Kathleen will respond as soon as possible upon her return. Know that at Amplify, we aim to include everyone we can!
