Mr. Kennedy has become a leader in mental health awareness. His experiences have been chronicled in the autobiographical account, Why I Didn’t Say Anything and in the powerful documentary film Swift Current. For his efforts in bringing important societal issues to the fore, Sheldon Kennedy was awarded the Order of Canada.
