2024 Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Recipient
Diane Gwilliam is a community builder, mentor, teacher and accomplished potter, whose influence and creativity can be felt across St. Albert’s artistic landscape. She has been a member of the St. Albert Potters Guild for four decades and, in that time taught classes for over 27 years, cultivating creativity in countless students both young and old.
She recently retired from the City of St. Albert, where she served in many facets of arts administration and education. Perhaps most notably, she was the Visual Arts Activity Coordinator since the first year of the Children’s Festival in St. Albert.
Diane now directs her focus to her home studio, launching "Pottery by Diane Gwilliam". With newfound time, she has delved into sculptural work, crafting pieces that reflect her passion for nature and numerous commissioned projects for local organizations. Related Pages
