Selection Committee Application

The City of St. Albert Art in Public Places Program seeks artists, engineers, designers, business owners and community members to serve as selection committee members in the evaluation of applications for new public art projects.

The roster is open throughout the year, however you are not guaranteed to be called upon to participate.

Selection Committee members will be chosen on a project-by-project basis to reflect our artistic and cultural communities who live, work or play in proximity to the proposed artwork, have subject matter expertise and align with the call for artists criteria.

Selection Committee members will be expected to complete a Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest Agreement and Group Agreement before receiving and starting any applications.

Selection Committee members are asked to commit to the following:

  • One information and orientation session (up to three hours).
  • Up to four weeks to read and evaluate applications online, depending on the project’s timelines.
  • Up to two days of committee meetings, depending on project timelines.
