With the legalization of marijuana for those 18 years of age and older coming in to effect on October 17, 2018 it is important to have a clear understand about the various factors regarding marijuana and its effect on adults and youth.
Marijuana, legal or not, is a topic significantly affecting today’s youth.
This session will help parents navigate the ever-changing landscape of marijuana today; a lot has changed since the 60s. It will provide caregivers with balanced information on marijuana and its effects, including the impact on the adolescent developing brain. Learn how to openly approach the subject with teens and support them to make informed decisions.
This free session is intended for adults and is open to parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members to attend.
