Message from the Festival Coordinator

Message from the Festival Coordinator:

“It’s in 3-D!” Such was the comment of a delighted theatregoer attending their first live theatre performance several years ago. Well, after a couple of years of virtual programming, we are thrilled to be back… in 3-D!

We will be live and in person, with plenty to do both outside and indoors or, if that’s not your jam, from the comfort of your own homes or classrooms as well. We hope you will find much to surprise and delight the young ones and the young-at-heart as you join us June 2 – 5 for a joyous return of inspiring feature performances, creative and engaging workshops, interactive installations, rovers, open air stages, and festive fare and cheer at the 2022 International Children’s Festival of the Arts.

We are overjoyed to be back and can’t wait to welcome you onsite to reintroduce you to the Festival!

A staple event in the Alberta Capital Region, the International Children’s Festival of the Arts remains one of the largest and longest-running of its kind in North America.

– Andrea Gammon, Festival Coordinator
