Is there a gate admission to get on to the site for the Children's Festival?
No, the Children's Festival takes place on an un-gated site.
What do we have to pay for, once we are on the Children's Festival site?
Thursday to Sunday
- Feature Performances: $10 – $18.25 per person
- Paid Activities: $8 – $10 per participant
- Toddler Town presented by Visionary Centre for the Performing Arts
- One-day pass:Child $10
- Adult & infant 0-12 months FREE
Saturday and Sunday:
- Performance Plus Pass: $33
1 Feature Performance plus unlimited Paid Activities - Activity Pass: $17

We're new to the Children's Festival... What do we do?
Since there is no entrance fee to get onto the site, you are welcome to come down and explore all of the wonderful things the Festival has to offer.
If you decide to buy tickets once you are on site, we have Box Office staff that will be happy to help you out. For your convenience, all Feature Performances and Site Activities include age recommendations to help you make decisions.
Where are the Feature Performances?
Feature Performances take place in the following venues:
- The Arden Theatre | 5 St. Anne Street
- St. Albert Curling Club Stage | 3 Taché Street
- St. Albert Community Hall | 17 Perron Street

Where are the Paid Activities?
The Paid Activities are scattered throughout the site with most of them being in front of and inside of St. Albert Place, along the Global Edmonton River Trail. Consult the Site Map for exact locations.
Do adults need a Paid Activity ticket?
Adults supervising their children do not require a ticket to enter a Paid Activity venue. If an adult wishes to participate in the activity, they must purchase a ticket
Where can we buy Paid Activity tickets?
Tickets are available online and at the Arden Theatre Box Office in St. Albert Place.
An “Activities Pass”, granting access to all Paid Activities on either Saturday or Sunday, is also available for purchase at the Box Office.
How can I guarantee I get into a Paid Activity?
If you know exactly what you want to do, specific Paid Activity tickets can be purchased for an activity on a specific day and time. This ticket is only good for this date, time and activity.
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online at tickets.stalbert.ca, over the phone at 780-459-1542 or in person at one of our Box Offices.
What if I am not sure what activities we want to do ahead of time?
No problem! You can purchase tickets at anytime online at tickets.stalbert.ca, over the phone at 780-459-1542 or in person at our Box Office.
There is also the Activity Pass for $17 that provides unlimited Paid Activities for the day (only for Saturday and Sunday).
What happens if we don't use all of our Paid Activity tickets?
General Paid Activity tickets are non-refundable but can be used any day of the Festival, as they are not time or event-specific.
Are there any free activities?
YES! You'll find Roving Site Artists, performances on the Outdoor Stage, Art Installations, and a variety of free things to do throughout the Festival site.
Can I bring my own food on site?
Yes, of course. However, we do have many great, and very tempting, Food Vendors.
