Space Out! with St. Albert Cultivates the Arts

For Day 31 we are enlisting the help of theSt. Albert Cultivates the Arts Society (SACTAS) to teach us how to create an out of this world 3D rocket ship painting using items from home. Step-by-step, this project comes together using different art techniques and recycled cardboard tubes. Painting, cutting, gluing, and creating. This artwork is great for kids and adults of all ages! 

Materials

  • Coloured paper

  • Paint brushes, 
  • Napkins 
  • Scissors 
  • Water 
  • Pencil, felt markers,  
  • Googly eyes, tissue paper (optional) 

The City of St. Albert has worked with content developers to provide creative prompts that align with provincial public health measures, and guidance to protect the health system and the community by slowing the spread of COVID-19.
