Watch for colour-coded signs throughout the Festival site to help you find your way to each venue.
Park & Ride
Shuttle departs every 15 minutes.
Tuesday to Saturday: 8 AM to 5:30 PM
Sunday: 8 AM to 8 PM
On Saturday and Sunday, the Alberta Blue Cross Welcome Tent should be your first stop of the day! Located at the Park & Ride stop on St. Thomas Street, you’ll find answers to all your Festival questions. Make sure to pick up a Lost Child slap bracelet from Alberta Blue Cross volunteers.
The Festival’s feature performance venues and site activity tents are wheelchair accessible. On ticket order forms, provide the number of students in your group requiring wheelchair seating. Wheelchair attendants will receive a complimentary ticket.
NOTE: Wheelchair seating is limited in some venues.
The Children’s Festival is pleased to announce our NEW Festival Sensory Inclusion Program designed to support children and patrons with sensory processing disorders.

First Aid / Lost Kids and Information Tents
Two First Aid / Lost Kids and Information Tents are located on the Festival site:
- St. Albert Place Plaza
- St. Anne Street Promenade

Lost children will be escorted to an Information Tent. All lost-and-found items will be taken to one of the Information Tents during the week of the Festival. After June 3, all objects can be claimed through St. Albert Place security. Please call our administration office at 780-459-1600 for assistance.
Performances and activities are rated by age and based on artists’ recommendations and curriculum connections.
Please consider these categories as general guidelines, as we recognize that parents and teachers are the best judges of what is most appropriate for their children and students.

Concessions are located throughout the Festival site. Plenty of green space, ideal for a picnic lunch, surrounds the Festival site. Many of our food vendors offer hot lunch options. A listing of Food Vendors will be available April 15th for pre-orders.

Souvenirs are available for purchase in the merchandise tent located on the Front Plaza. Stop by to purchase all kinds of great Festival memorabilia such as t-shirts, Frisbees, glitter tattoos, yo-yos or a CD featuring your favourite Festival artist.
