Application Process and Waiver Forms
Welcome to the Children's Festival volunteer application process! If you are curious about volunteering but cannot decide where to go or what to sign up for, please get in touch. We work hard to ensure our volunteers are valued and respected and want everyone to have a great volunteer experience.
2026 Festival Volunteering
Volunteer registration is NOW OPEN!
To get started, you must complete a Volunteer Application Form in order to create a volunteer profile on our volunteer management program, Better Impact. It takes a few steps, so we wanted to give you an overview before you dive in.
The Steps to Becoming a NEW Children's Festival Volunteer:
- Review Roles and Standards
First, we recommend scrolling through the volunteer roles and volunteer standards, which you can find on our website. This way you'll understand both the volunteer expectations and the volunteer opportunities before even filling out the application form. It's a great way to discover what volunteer roles might interest you! - Apply
Once you're ready, please fill out our Children's Festival Volunteer Application where you'll be asked to review and accept our Volunteer Standards. - Create Your Profile and Upload Waiver
After you've accepted the standards, you'll be asked to create a volunteer profile by telling us a little bit about yourself. This helps us find the perfect volunteer role for your Children's Festival experience. This step requires that you sign and upload a volunteer waiver. Volunteers under 18 years of age need a parent or guardian to sign the youth waiver form. Volunteers 18 and over need to sign an adult waiver form. We also have an adult waiver form for adults with guardians. In order to be prepared for this step, you can download the appropriate waiver at the bottom of this page or follow the hyperlinks above. - Review and Approval
After that, the volunteer team will be notified of your application and it will take them a few days to approve it. Once your application has been approved, you'll receive an email from us explaining how to sign up for shifts, as well as important dates to be aware of.
Waiver Forms
All our volunteers need it complete a waiver form. As such, in order to be prepared to register to volunteer, we suggest you download the appropriate waiver, read through it carefully, sign it and be ready to upload it when you go to fill out the volunteer application form.
