Le Groupe Swing, better known as LGS, creates melodies that immediately make kids want to smile, swing … er … dance and party! The unique Franco-Ontarian band mixes French-Canadian folk, American pop, electronic, and hip-hop music to create a distinct and upbeat sound that’s earned them more than one million YouTube views, a Juno Award nomination for French Album of the Year and countless other awards.

At the core of the group’s infectious madness and energy is creator Michel Bénac, along with Jean-Philippe Goulet. Celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2019, LGS’s hit song On perd la tête, translated to English to mean “we lose the head”, stayed at No. 1 on Québec radio for a jaw-dropping 14 weeks. With fiddle, accordion and simple percussion, every LGS concert is transformed into a unique experience!
