Come explore, create and become an Eco Warrior! Join us for a fun, hands-on adventure where you can become nature detectives and champions of the environment! Visit interactive stations to explore the natural world around us. Discover how local wild life and ecosystems are connected, learn how to properly sort waste, and investigae animal tracks and scat. Along the way, you will uncover what makes St. Albert such a special place, from our wetlands and natural areas to the Sturgeon River valley and the many critters that live here.
You will also get to take part in an exciting public art project! Through a creative activity that includes building tiny scupltures and completing a fun activity, you can share what makes your trail adventures special. Share your stories with the artist about the towering White Spruce trees, the historic Riverlot system, and the plans and animals you have discovered in the area. Your ideas, stories and creations could help inspire the final artwork!
