Description

In this activity, drawing inspiration from nature, participants will create a take-home art piece using plants and elements from our outside environment, filling in a silhouette-style animal on card stock paper.  These images can become extremely elaborate and full of color or stay simple and beautiful - it is entirely up to the artist and their vision!  Accommodations are made to ensure inclusion through the provision of coloring pages of important animals in Indigenous spiritual teachings and storytelling. As conversations flow, traditional knowledge and animal stories will be shared throughout the session.

ACCESSIBILITY CONSIDERATIONS

  • Featured in a Wheelchair Accessible venue.
