Australian FlagIMMERSIVE THEATRE PERFORMANCE MEETS INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION

Venture into a wild woodland unlike any other as theatre and play collide in a mystical make-believe world! Paper Planet will have kids wrapped up in a forest of fun as they explore a recyclable woodland chock-full of towering cardboard trees and fantastical paper flora and fauna. Using only tape and paper, hundreds of nimble fingers will help populate an ever-growing installation with their unique creations and costumes. Kids will also get their chance to chime in and add noises to the live soundscape of Mother Nature.

Equal parts immersive theatre and interactive installation, performers from Australia’s Polyglot Theatre collaborate with children to create an imaginative one-of-a-kind theatrical experience.

Note: All materials used will come from recycled, reused and repurposed sources, which will then be reclaimed, where applicable, for other Festival workshops. Representatives from the City of St. Albert’s Utilities and Environment department will be on site to answer questions, educate kids about St. Albert’s Be Waste Wise program and encourage more responsible practices from all citizens.
