  • Land Acknowledgement
    The land on which the City of St. Albert now sits has been home to many Indigenous peoples over the years.
  • Residential Schools
    St. Albert was home to two residential schools, which left a painful legacy for the survivors and their families.
  • National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation
    The Centre acts as steward for the many records gathered and developed by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.
  • Payhonin Report
    The City of St. Albert engaged with the community to determine how best to support the community in moving towards reconciliation.
