Emma Bailey Scholarship Application

Applications and required documentation will be accepted until midnight of October 31st of the application year.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Have been a cast member in a minimum of one SACT show, with at least one of those shows in high school years (grades 10, 11 or 12)
  2. Enrolled in an approved post-secondary institution in Alberta or Canada
  3. Enrolled in an undergraduate theatre/drama or another theatre/drama-related Program; details as follows:
    1. Enrolled in an Undergrad Program with a primary preference in Drama, Theatre Arts, BFA Performing Arts, Acting, Musical Theatre or Opera
    2. Enrolled in an Undergrad Program with a secondary preference in stage management, theatre production, costuming, lighting, sound, set design, choreography, film, musical direction, screenwriting, or musical theatre-related. (Out of scope: music, education, recreation, or dance)
  4. Have never received the scholarship before

Required Documentation to Attach to Application Form

  • Proof of tuition paid for latest term, including student name, school, term/period

Final Steps

Allow several weeks for processing. Scholarships will be awarded by December 31st of the qualifying year.
