Audition for Anne of Green Gables

Anne of Green Gables – The Musical follows the misadventures of a precocious and wildly independent 12-year-old girl, Anne Shirley, who has a fiery red hair and a hot temper to match.

After having been mistakenly sent to live with plainspoken farmer Matthew and his spinster sister Marilla, who thought they were adopting a boy, Anne with an ‘e’ captures the hearts and minds of her newfound family in the small farming community of Avonlea. Her irrepressible spirit and imagination, coupled with her contagiously endearing personality, win over audiences as well with this warm, poignant story about love, home and family.

This original adaptation based on the beloved novel by L.M. Montgomery is now firmly embedded in Canadian national culture and musical theatre cannon as it continues to enrapture audiences around the world with its rich score and a rare, moving story for all ages.
