St. Albert’s three school districts provide a variety of learning opportunities and styles. These include Francophone studies, French immersion, kindergarten options, International Baccalaureate, Cogito, Learning through the Arts, Sports Academies, Integrated Digital Technology, registered apprenticeship programs and more.

Those with older children will be happy to know that direct Transit services are offered between St. Albert and excellent post-secondary institutions in the area such as the University of Alberta, MacEwan University, and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).

St. Albert students consistently rank above the provincial averages in standardized tests & regularly qualify for scholarships.

40 Developmental Assets is a program that aims to help youth to develop personal qualities that will help them grow up to be healthy, caring and responsible individuals.

What is BAM For Youth?

BAM stands for Building Assets and Memories. They are a youth for youth group made up of current and former high school students in St. Albert. Their number one goal is to promote asset development and self discovery in youth because they believe that all youth have purpose and potential for great things. They encourage youth to believe in their own unique talents and abilities to create positive change.
