The Homebuyer's Plan allows you to withdraw up to $35,000 from your registered retirement savings plan (RRSP) to buy or build a qualifying home for yourself or a related person with a disability.
First-Time Homebuyer Incentive (shared equity mortgage)
The first-time homebuyer incentive is a shared equity instrument. The Government of Canada contributes 5% or 10% towards the down payment of your home, until the time of repayment. the program identifies limits to qualifying annual income and the total borrowing amount.
