Change, Repair or Replace Carts

For Residential Waste Collection

If you've chosen repair/replace, please state the issue(s) with your existing brown cart.

Providing cart sizes is only required if you're looking to change your cart's size.

(e.g. 123 # 456789)
You will find the 9-digit serial number on the upper right side of the cart.

*If one 240 L Brown Garbage Cart is not sufficient, an additional 240 L Brown Garbage can be requested. You must already be receiving a 240 L Brown Garbage Cart to request an additional cart. You will be charged monthly for an additional cart and a $50 administration fee will apply.


 

Organics Cart (Green)

If you've chosen repair/replace, please state the issue(s) with your existing green cart.

Providing cart sizes is only required if you're looking to change your cart's size.

(e.g. 123 # 456789)
You will find the 9-digit serial number on the upper right side of the cart.

*If one 240 L Green Organics Cart is not sufficient, an additional 240 L Green Organics Cart can be requested. You must already be receiving a 240 L Green Organics Cart to request an additional cart. There is no additional monthly fee, however a one-time $50 administration fee will apply.


 

Please Note

  • Cart swaps are performed within a 3 week window from the date the request is received by the City.
  • Please continue using your present cart until the City comes to change your cart size. The cart must be visible from the street starting the following business day and continue to be placed at the curb on your regular collection day.
  • One change is allowed per calendar year at no cost. A $50 administration fee applies to any additional changes.
  • There is no cost difference between the medium (120 L) and the large (240 L) Green Organics Cart. Options are provided to meet varying household needs with food scraps, leaves, and yard waste.
