Garbage Cart (Brown)

Organics Cart (Green)

Notes: You will find the 9-digit serial number on the upper right side of the cart. Providing cart sizes is only required if you're looking to change your cart's size.

Please Note:

  • Cart swaps are performed within a 3 week window from the date the request is received by the city.
  • Please continue using your present cart until the City comes to change your cart size. The cart must be visible from the street starting the following business day and continue to be placed at the curb on your regular collection day.
  • To request an additional 240L garbage or organics cart, please call (780) 459-1520 and select option 2. Additional fees will apply.
  • One change is allowed per calendar year at no cost. A $50 administration fee applies to any additional changes.
  • There is no cost difference between the medium (120 L) and the large (240 L) Green Organics Cart. Options are provided to meet varying household needs with food scraps, leaves, and yard waste.

1)The personal information collected on this form and through the operations of our utility programs, including your water meter readings, is authorized by section 33(c) of Alberta’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the City of St. Albert's Utility Bylaw. This information will be used for the purpose of account administration, debt collection, customer verification, and may be shared for a consistent purpose. If you have any questions about the collection, use or disclosure of this information please contact the Utility Services department at 780-459-1520 (option 2). 2) Submissions containing inappropriate or profane language will be immediately discarded by staff. 3) The information you provide on this form may be transmitted outside of Canada.
