Garbage and Organics Carts for New Builds

The cart-related options below are for new builds where there are no carts presently. Customers at a new residence that wish to repair or exchange an existing cart should use our Change, Repair, or Replace Carts form to submit that request.

What’s the difference between garbage cart options?

Desired Organics Cart Size

There is no cost difference between the medium (120 L) and the large (240 L) Green Organics Cart. Options are provided to meet varying household needs with food scraps, leaves, and yard waste.

Please Note

We will charge a $25 application fee with your first bill.
The City of St. Albert requires five working days' notice before the date that service is to be connected.
You will be signed up for eBilling by default unless you specifically request a mailed monthly bill (at the cost of $1.54 per month) in the Questions or Comments field below or by calling 780-459-1520 (select option 2).
You will inherit the garbage and organics carts presently in use at the property. If you find that these carts do not meet your needs, please contact the Utility Services or submit a cart change request ›
